My life is one big bundle of school work right now. The reason why I thought taking classes in the summer would be nothing but splendid was because I had this crazy goal of doing everything… and now as the going gets tough… my tough has to get going. As in I have to get tougher and more resilient. This means more hours studying, less distractions, and more motivation even if this means external versus intrinsic while I postpone the soul searching I feel simmering up within me.

Yes, one more week to burn the midnight oil guys. I’m hitting the books right now… study break over.

THIS is up there with noble prize laureates who are totally top notch go-to-people in my book. Guys who apologize with flowers… yes. Ehem, #yes. What really made this an amazing moment was the note. So sweet, I just can’t. I really can’t. I never mentioned this here however this past spring semester this gentleman went on a business trip to xyz location and brought me back souviners worth 200 short of 1k. I choked, I did I really did. It was all gorgeous, there was shoes involved, and a beautiful shirt and snow globe, and spectacular museum handbook that I just… I didn’t accept it because my being, and every moral fiber within me told me not to. The guy is amazing, and so were the gifts, but I didn’t earn it. Now in this case, I didn’t really earn these flowers either but, this is a peace offering and one that I accept. I am currently in the midst of studying for my accounting exam tomorrow and writing him a thankyou note for this thoughtful gesture. He seriously made quite an impression on me with this act of thoughtfulness… guys. Take notes. Ladies will swoon.

(2) Bose Headphones: Kudos to my sister, she saw a problem I had and per the usual reached out to me and purchased them for me. She is so selfless, and empathetic, I wish I could be more like her <3. I am in the search of an item for her that will make her cry for thoughtfulness like this did for me.
And then of course in the background is my accounting study notes I was typing up for my exam this Tuesday. Posting this is my study break hehe.

(3) Nylon Mag, Discover Mag: Perfection mags really. Personally I wish I were also subscribed to the New York times. By the end of this summer guyz.

(4)Bamboo: Lover of all greenery, this is no exception. Not mine but guess what I want to start growing as a pet!

Major thing I love about Miami aside from the people is the structures aka buildings. This is something I really get to appreciate when I go outside on runs. There exist a special place in my heart for school supplies. I completed fall semester, spring semester, and now it is time for summer semester to get on the same track. I am besotted with excitement because classes start for me tomorrow and I don’t know how much longer I can wait. I am, on a side note, particularly thankful for my sister because in all of this she remembered my adoration of school supplies. That easy button right there, kudos to her plus the novelty pens as well. You never can go wrong with a novelty pen. Or, with a sister who genuinely cares.

Now that finals are over time to share my grades.

I have been working on these for an entire semester and I am disappointed in myself. 4 A’s & 1 B. It could have been all A’s however I clearly need to practice the skill of english. I still cannot believe I received a B in English when I worked so hard to earn an A. :(

Anyhow. These are all from this week. I went to an opening today of a fruit restaurant with some friends which I thought would be more social than it was, but as it turns out I was just more awkward than it was. My sister has taken over the show here with her yummy burger which yes, I totally drooled over. And her killer Kate Spade bag which she purchased at a major discount because she’s price savvy ;D. Aside from that I am on the lookout for new plants to adopt as my own. I am looking to foster the skill that is the green thumb. Such beauty in vibrancy. Hope everyone did great on finals or if you are still in high school, I suspect you are all in study more so enough tumblr and return to studying! Summer will come soon enough loves. More posts to come now that I am in summer for like two weeks because yes, I will be taking summer courses.

This is what the weeks before finals looked like. Barely had time to post but this is from then. I did an obstacle run where I volunteered the entire day and then some. I met so many people there. Starting with the people who ran the obstacle course all the way down to the race organizers and sponsors which was pretty awesome. It was a jam packed weekend before finals, I don’t know how I managed in retrospect. Same weekend was a beach picnic with my lovely org. family and gym family. Super happy it happened. Good times.

March is going by quickly. With so many things to do, and so many things to make sure happen I am always trying to stay three steps ahead.

Mostly now my focus is school. I am concerned about getting that 4.0; so here’s to making things happen with hard work and determination!
