1. Graduation wasn’t emotional and I liked it best that way. Two student speakers who spoke were “on point” and everything tonight seemed to flow as it should. The only kink in it all was the heat. A gown, dress with frill, all along with a blazer set me up for being on the verge of sweat puddles. Thankfully my mum handed me a bag to put all my stuff in, & that I did.

The ceremony/event was at night which means no celebration after for me because everything was closed (which is really a great big ‘ol nuisance, they could have done all this in the morning!). Hopefully we’ll catch up on that and do it all sometime this week… but it really does feels great to say I am finally graduated and an alumni of my high school.

    Anyhow.

This summer I plan to leave no stone unturned:

Travel to Orlando and visit some religious and cultural sites, maybe disney while I’m at it.

Take some educational community classes… I need to get savvy in the foreign language department.

Learn piano, I’ve already started and can read the music and play a couple of stanza I just need to play a whole song. That’s the hardest part for me.

Write more, like a lot more and maybe enter some competitions. Start on some ideas I’ve had floating around too.

    Work out more

    And get a summer job.

I really want to get in on some community projects as well like building things and stuff but I don’t want to overwhelm myself. As it it I am planning half the stuff on my list. I just want to be realistic with myself.
